What user rights do you feel should be part of the norms in this digital world? What user responsibilities do you feel should be expressed in this digital world?
We should have the right to use technology in our classes and our private life. As in real life, our rights are not exclusive. We have to respect others' rights as well, so of course there are some limitations. When someone does not use technology responsibly, his or her rights could be taken.
Adults and students should be responsible when it comes to technology. They should be required to follow laws, such as copyright laws. As adults we should role model correct use of citing sources and giving credit for online sources. If we do not do this, how can we expect students to do so? Also, we should have some moral responsibilities.
