User responsibilities should be expressed in the digital world?

I think that all people should be able to use the digital world without having the fear of someone else taking over and ruining their credit and reputation.  Also how I was taught if you don't have something good to say about people, don't post it all over the internet or say it.  People need to watch and be careful about how things are said and also be considerate of others and use there consciences.  In this world of how fast the digital world is taking over everyones lives we need to train our children and students how to handle different situations and to keep a careful eye on them and how they use it.

I agree with this post on being able to use the digital world safe and effectively without the threat of someone stealing your identity.  As a mother and professional who works with students it is important to help them become aware that whatever they say or do in the digital world may be used for good or against them.  They need to be taught how to be responsible in this manner and to not feed into the negativity of others who are not using technology for the common good.
