I believe in freedom of speech, but one of the major issues that I am having with my students and other young people in my life is the amount of information that is not founded in fact and simply untrue. The fact that anyone can get online and make up any theories or studies and announce them as facts is baffling to me. While I have no idea how this could possibly be policed or enforced, I do believe that it is a huge problem in our online world and it is having a dangerous effect on our students.
