User rights/responsabilitiesl

What user rights do you feel should be part of the norms in this digital world? What user responsibilities do you feel should be expressed in this digital world?

I feel that everyone should have these rights in the digital world.

1. Privacy
2. Data Protection
3. Equal Access.
4. Freedom of expression. (Within reason) Should follow the laws set fourth in the non digital world.

Responsibilities:

1. People should act ethically and responsibly online, avoiding activities that could harm others, spread misinformation, or violate laws.

2. Respect others

3. Be held responsible for what people share/post online

4. Be knowledgeable and know how to navigate the digital world safely and effectively.  

5. Set up own security

6. Do not steal intelectual property.

I feel user rights and responsibilities should be followed by each individual user laws.  I feel an individual needs to know all of the consequences of misuse and should be constantly mindful even if tempted.  Each  user of the internet needs to have their devices protected by anti virus and spyware in today's digital world, and never experiment with any sites that you are not aware of .  Overall, perhaps limit time spent and avoid making any comments, likes, or repost anything.
