I can use GMail in the classroom to keep parents informed on what is going on in the classroom. For example, I could let them know when we will be having tests, missing assignments their children have, and fun projects the students are participating in. Furthermore, it is a great way to keep them informed about positive and negative behaviors that you are seeing. GMail is a great communication tool so there are no surprises at conference time.
