Using Gmail as a Substitute Teacher

My use of Gmail in a classroom setting would be limited by the assignment I receive. However, using it to communicate to the primary teacher about classroom issues and feedback of the day. I could also use it to send assignment notes to myself regarding class direction for prolonged assignments.
