Using Gmail in a high school classroom

I teach in a one-to-one school where email is the major form of communication.  Every student has a gmail account, and we frequently use it as a way to turn in assignments.  Also I find that kids are much quicker in asking questions via email, and we get to have this quick little "chats" we might not be able to have between classes.  Digital communication has been a radical (and often) good change to my classroom management.
