Our school has just switched to Google and Gmail. I teach preschool so I will not be using Gmail with my students, however, I have begun using it weekly with the parents. I have used Gmail to create a "group" for the families, PTO, and staff. This has made sending emails a much quicker task since I don't have to click on each person individually. I have also made labels for each student, licensure information, and staff notes to keep everything organized. I like being able to create an event on my classroom calendar and it will email parents the events and details.
