Using Gmail in the Classroom

Gmail can be a powerful tool for educators to use.  It has many different features which help to communicate efficiently, organize, and help to ensure teaching and learning are taking place in the classroom.  The use of labeling is one of the best features because it allows me to empty out my inbox but still be able to find all the information I have about any particular topic I have labeled.  In the classroom this can be used to ensure specific information about particular students is easily accessible and can be used effectively to support learning.
