I like that I am able to group my contacts by grade. This way if I have an assignment due, I could send out reminders to students. While taking this online class I have made contact groups for the teachers, staff, and 6th grade students, 7th grade students, and 8th grade students. This will save me time if I need to get information out to the adults and/or students.
I also like the chat capability. I could use this to talk with other teachers about any issues that I had in PE or Health.
Currently I use gmail to communicate with teachers/staff and parents. It is always nice to send out information about what is going on in class to the parents as a group or make comments on what the students are doing well in class as a "team".
