Using Gmail in your Classroom

In my classroom Gmail will be essential for communication. In our district, we use chrome books daily, so we are all very "Google" literate at this point. We use it to communicate with students, parents, and each other teachers in the district. Using Gmail is good because you can translate to other languages to communicate with families who once before would have been unable to be involved in what was going on in your classroom. Gmail is great for classroom reminders, and it is good for students to chat with each other regarding assignments for school. Gmail also makes it easy to send attachments and links within your emails.
