I have always been terrible about organizing my inbox, but have recently found a need to be more organized to find past emails and information more quickly. I like the use of labels to help sort information. I need to set up more spam filters to filter unwanted information. I also need to filter information from education-based sites that come through my inbox that are not from my colleagues as this takes up unnecessary space in my inbox. I would like to read through some of these resources later, so they aren't to be labeled spam.
We use an outside company for our technology, so I am currently waiting for them to enable labs within my gmail account. Once they do, I would like to use the right-side chat labs and enable calendar on left side. I have everything from taking out the trash to appointments in my google calendar, so it would be nice to be able to see the tasks I need to complete at a glance.
