I like how with Google + I can connect with our teachers around the world and bounce ideas or methods off of each other. Unfortunately, my tech admin has this options shut off for our district.
I really like Google Hangout!! I do have some experience using it from last spring when we let out of school because of COVID. I plan to continue using Hangout with my students so that I can answer any questions my students might have outside of the school day. Also, I can teach a mini lesson on it and record it. I can then send it or post to google classroom so other students who could not tune in can watch the lesson.
In my personal life, I can reach out to family and friends by messaging them or video chatting with them. I really like the add-ons that you can use in Hangouts. When working with my students, I liked to use the grid mode so I could see everyone on one screen.
