Variation Reflection

Molly Fox
This was not my best test!  I also couldn't view the pictures for two of the questions but I'm also not sure it would have mattered.  I definitely remember learning about heredity and also calculating and figuring out the percentage that a trait could be passed on but I did not retain this!  I got 8 wrong and knew I wasn't doing well- there were some vocabulary words like "allele" that I just don't remember at all!
This did not accurately measure what I know but it did show that this is an area of weakness for me as a teacher.  I'm excited to learn more about heredity and traits to help my 3rd graders!

I also could not view the pictures.  I too am excited about this.  I taught this to my 7th graders and everyday it was question after question.  The students in both my sections were really excited to learn about genetics and heredity.
