I think the challenge for teachers today to develop a comprehensive scope and sequence of skills concerning digital citizenship from kindergarten to graduation. What should be learned and when has always been a challenge for any curriculum, but even more so of the changing landscape of the digital world. However, it's interesting that many of the skills and terms used when talking about digital citizenship sounds strangely familiar. Even Mike Ribble's 9 elements sound like something you would learn in kindergarten - how to treat people and be treated by others. Maybe interacting digitally only intensifies our moral and ethical behavior patterns.
