I have made many shop videos for students. It is a Wood Shop class and the online course work includes power tools safety videos. The videos in the in the course do not use the exact same model as my student will use at their high school shop. I walk student through the part vocabulary, features and safety of each power tool in the shop. I cross walk the information in the tool quiz with the tool they will use in their wood shop. I have purchased with my own funds a camera that can do closeups with high resolution. I am able to share with the whole class an up close view never available to students before. I feel it deepens the students understanding of how the machine operates.
