YouTube Channels - Thad Sentman

tsentman
The amazing thing about YouTube is that there is such a volume of content that you can find really niche channels or videos on just about anything. In that light, I have listed some that are really specific to what I have used in class, but hopefully they allow other posters ideas even if they are not applicable to their content area.

1) AuthenticSound - a musicology focused channel on historically reconstructed performance practice as it relates to tempo

2) Tenebrae Choir - a professional vocal ensemble based in the United Kingdom that regularly performs standard literature.

3) American String Teachers Association - My national professional organization

4) Chicago Symphony Orchestra - has a good mix of podcasts, performances, and highlight clips.

That’s a great list, Thad! I really like how you’ve highlighted YouTube’s ability to host such specialized and educational content it reminds me of how tools like YouTube Vanced Mod APK make the viewing experience even more efficient and focused by removing distractions like ads and adding background play options. It’s interesting how both the platform itself and these innovative apps can support learning and engagement in different ways.
