I'm really comfortable with YouTube but also think I am way under-utilizing this platform. I follow Stephanie Stollar on YouTube- She has a 3 minute introduction of Science of Reading that is universally helpful to educators, administrators, and other consultants. I also follow a channel for FAST FastBridge which explains the screening measures and some of the concepts behind them. The content on these channels is both older, and I'd like to see more up to date channels and information on YouTube. This might be an area of interest or need I could fill with my consulting services.
I have a lot of questions about logistics that I will need to figure out- It appears I cannot create a YouTube channel without a gmail address, so I would need to create a new/separate gmail for my company. My company website is powered by Microsoft. I don't love yet another gmail login to remember, but also my current gmail has a LOT of subscriptions to personal interests- so it's weighing the time and effort of cleaning that out vs. just going ahead with another gmail. I am also interested in whether this effort would just be sharing good quality information, or if I might monetize these resources with a Patreon feature or subscription sub channel. Lots of questions and not much knowledge! But I may start with simply a consulting channel to curate and share lists. The sharing a list via creator was VERY helpful.
