YouTube Katie Slack

YouTube has been a great resource for me.  I'm able to find all kinds of recordings, mini lessons, repair tips, etc on YouTube.  I use YouTube on a weekly basis.  Currently my high school band students are working small rehearsal independently.  Most of them were able to find at least 1 performance of their song on YouTube.  This gives them a great starting place and point of reference.  This is also allows them another opportunity to evaluate a performance.

I use Youtube regularly in my SEL lessons.  I have used a variety of levels, due to the many different student types I encounter.  Also, the ages vary.  So many valuable videos on Youtube for my field.
