I feel that it is important for kids to read, summarize, act out, and translate Shakespeare in the ELA classroom. This year I get to teach Romeo & Juliet to Freshman. I will use Youtube to help the students to see aspects of the play. Youtube explains the play and allows kids to progress at their own pace. They can watch videos over and over at their own pace.
