I have used Youtube in the classroom to show several videos of places that we talk about around the world. Instead of only reading articles about a specific location, we "travel" there. Webcams and tour guides of places are great to help students "see" different places that we are studying.
We have see Niagra Falls, scuba diving in Belize, the salt lakes in Turkey, the outback in Australia among several other places.
I would also use calming music while working. Mindful Kids is a good one.
I also use SafeShare sometimes when sharing specific videos I would like students to engage with.
