For me, I find that when I read an article or see a video (like one of those TED Talks) that presents ideas that interest me, I like to go and find the author/speaker on Twitter.
Doing this allows me to continue the development of those ideas rather than letting them fade until I happen across that article or video again.
As an example, after all the news about the young boy who was arrested and sent home for bringing the clock he'd made to school, I started following @IStandWithAhmed. It's been good to see how various STEM institutions, cultural advocacy groups, and educators have rallied around this student.
