I went in and looked at my privacy settings for my Facebook account. Most of the settings were set so that only friends could see posts. What I did not realize was that any app that I had explored could also share my information, unless I told it not to. While I didn't have any of these set to what I would call "wide open" I did have a couple more open than what I wanted, and reset them to "only me".
I can see where kids would allow "friends of friends" to see everything they post, and there is always that temptation to friend every possible person suggested.
IBeing a teacher of 35 years, I have a multitude of "friends" on Facebook who are former students and co-workers. I now realize that I do need to go in and unfriend probably 100's of people who I have known "in passing" and some not at all, who are connected to the music business, of which I am a part.
