gmail in my classroom

     I teach first grade so I would utilize gmail by contacting families, especially when a child has more than one family.  A number of my students are in shared custody situations. By uploading notes and forms to gmail, I would be sure that both sets of parents receive the information. This would also be a good way for parents to contact me with questions and/or changes in their child's schedule.
     I could also utilize gmail with my para educators. It would be much quicker to type lists for their time in my classroom than to handwrite the instructions. Paras could see the instructions prior to coming into the classroom so they would have time to email or see me with any questions or clarifications that may be needed.
