I started using labels to keep track of contacts with home school families. Contacts have a bright red label, and I keep them in my inbox until any needed action has already happened. I may begin giving the contacts for each quarter a different color.
As a teacher in a Home School Assistance Program, we are required to keep a log of contacts, and these labels are helping me to keep track of written contacts.
