As a substitute, I will have limited use for sending email to students or parents, however, using gmail in private life, I can see many applications which are helpful.  I can create and manage contacts, as well as label conversations.  Particularly managing contacts will be useful in the future, as in the past, I have had a hard time finding addresses.  I also really liked that I can personalize the settings and themes and plan to use this option more.
