My son had an old cell phone that only worked on wifi and created a group chat will 150 of my contacts. I have to reach out and explain he had not understood what he had done. It was before you could get rid of group messages, so everytime someone commented on it went to everyone again. It took a few weeks to get people to stop responding. Some people understood but a few where upset to keep getting the messages. I had to explain it to my son. My son never did it again that was 12 years ago
