I feel the use of Social Media and airing your grievance is a big issue. I have seen times where students and parents have made comments about something they did not like about their school. All it does is start a complaint session for anyone to add whatever their ‘beef’ is. The media also has a place to comment on an article, which I feel is not necessary because many times it does become a place to complain, ridicule or bully someone. I think some people feel since they have a right to express themselves digitally, there are no consequences. This goes back to the importance of Digital Citizenship and how to express ourselves in the digital world in an appropriate manner.
