new ideas

I have been using Gmail for years; however, I have learned so many new ideas from this module. The one I think I will especially be grateful for is the translator. I have a large number of students whose parents do not speak English or speak it less fluently. I have also been frustrated for years when I move an email to a folder and it is still in the inbox. Now I know what I need to do to change that. I also love the archive feature, and I now know how to insert my signature. Some of this is so simple, but I did not know how to do it.

Question: In the tutorial video, there was a labs tab at the top. Mine does not have that. Is it because our admin has it blocked or do I need to update? I can go to advanced features and find a few, but only a few.
