Students are so accustomed to using these forums on a daily basis, that they are not thinking of the consequences of the things they post. They mostly think nobody is watching and nobody would really care even if they were. The future of this online image they are creating is not even on their radar. Teachers and parents need to be teaching the appropriate ways to communicate and protect their image.
