It would seem to me that the biggest right a person has with regard to digital content is to able to regulate the distribution and content of digital transmissions. Just who can see what, once it is posted digitally. It is also the right of a digital citizen to post any information if done in a responsible manner.

With rights come responsibilities. It is the responsibility of each user to not post false or misleading information. The internet today is filled with inaccurate, misleading information. At some point kids need to be taught to receive information in a critical way, not taking everything at face value. It is also the responsibility of the user to learn, to the best of his or her ability, as much as possible about each digital platform they use knowing how to access and share information responsibly.
