I have posted a message that I can relate to personally. I experienced this situation with a family member, an immediate family member who was a minor. I felt much betrayal, mistrust, and shock. I was approached about the situation before I even knew what was happening, and many tears were shed behind closed doors. I was blindsided and felt like a victim in many ways. My family was affected emotionally. I was misjudged in the community and treated differently because of false accusations. As a teacher, I would incorporate that posting your opinion about situations should be balanced with privacy and respect towards others. Personal family drama should not be posted when the other person can not defend themselves. What is posted has lasting consequences for both the user and person to whom the post is implied.
