I use social media like facebook & instagram for my family and friends, not students. I have a professional account on twitter in which I share information about different topics, where students at our school encouraged to follow and stay updated through the tweets. I keep them completely separate and have found this to be beneficial. Especially using the twitter to remind students of upcoming deadlines and events. They are encouraged to use twitter at our school for a resource.
