Assignment:
Referring back to the videos, articles, etc. that you read/watched about VTS, discuss the implications and use in your classroom of implementing and using VTS. Add at least one website link, with a brief description about it, that demonstrates a way to use VTS in a classroom. Respond to 2 other participants.

I thought that this website does a great job of explaining a good introduction to VTS and how it works in the classroom.  I also liked how they made the connections to parts of the core curriculum.  I noticed there was a very safe space about talking about subjects that can sometime be avoided.  The kids seemed free to share and discussed why they thought certain things about different types of people.  I also think the video showed how well VTS can reach all different types of students.  It can specifically build confidence in students who might struggle with written expression.  I feel that VTS would be very helpful for ESL learners and just allows more open ended questions, which quality educators are consistently looking for.

This was another website that was helpful for a first time VTS user.  It has a good simple layout for what VTS.  I like how they keep it simple.  Implementing certain strategies can be challenging because of there details and specifics.  VTS seems to be something that I could implement very soon.  The website also provides some images that could be used.  The addition to VTS in the classroom can really all students have a voice and raise their interest and participation.
