Our seventh grade teaching team has been brainstorming ways to incorporate more interdisciplinary units into our year.  The math teacher partners with a local bank each year to teacher financial literacy topics.  I could partner with her to have the students apply their knowledge on financial literacy during our informational/how-to writing unit when we create brochures on a topic.
