I really like how you have figured out how to incorporate art with a difficult subject - biology. I think that art really grasps the attention of a lot of students, and in a tough subject such as biology, some students are hard to connect with. Using art to do so would be another way to help bridge the gap with those students. This seems like something that a lot of biology teachers would be hesitant to do, and seeing that you are willing to try something new and unfamiliar will make you stand out amongst other biology teachers.
