Visual Thinking Strategies gives an amazing way to implement skills for observation towards critical thinking as well as giving skills to enhance students social and communication skills. VTS gives students a way to use language in a critical way.  Using VTS is a way to teach students how to apply the skills to daily content areas.  For example, giving students the ability to observe, question and give a conclusion / proof is the same way you look at science, social studies, math.  
I never heard of VTS until reviewing this section on this class.  I find it helpful and empowering learning how we can use art to give strategies to students.  When viewing the video and articles I thought of ways I will be using such strategies.
