I have used YouTube to introduce a topic...Waves with Tacoma Narrows Bridge Collapse video
...also to set up some discrepant event...freefall ball from Vertasium site.
...and lots of unique phenomena to structure a topic around: Smarter Every Day, Vsauce, and Khan Academy.
