I liked the article, Reframing Art by Rick Ludeman. Especially interesting to me was the section on connecting art to math. That just seems like a natural connection, and yet, I do not think we do it often. Perhaps it is because art in the schools is limited. We think about collaboration among core subject teachers but don’t think about including the arts teachers. This is something I am going to work on changing. If I know the concepts the arts teachers are working on, I can see how they can incorporated into my lessons.
