I as well thought a lot about what I do in my classroom daily as a teacher. I teach 7th grade math, so I feel like I never have time to get off topic. I need to hit all the big priority standards in order to prepare my students for standardized testing and also for the next grade. However, after reading the articles I found how important it is that I need to take the time to incorporate these strategies and differentiate instruction.

Like you said, so many of my students struggle to express themselves. Art is a great way to differentiate instruction and allow students to show their thinking in different ways.
