I too was very intrigued by listening to the students speak about the art. I was amazed at how engaged and deep they were getting in their discussions. It isn't always the easiest to keep 7th graders engaged during a math lesson, but I feel like incorporating some of these strategies into a lesson would help keep them on task and focused.

Also, I agree that most times art gets integrated into my curriculum for math is during the holidays. However, I'm hoping to change that.
