I already use google calendar to schedule meetings because Google automatically creates the event in my calendar when I need to attend a parent meeting or professional development.  I love this feature!!  I really want to utilize Google Calendar more this year professionally and personally.  

I have shared my calendar with my husband so that we are on the same page with our children's events or if one of us will be home later because of a meeting.  I have added his company's calendar so events that we are to attend show up on my calendar as well.

As far as at school, I have added my principal's calendar so I know when he is available to conference with or if I missed a meeting notification, if will be on his calendar.  I really want to show students how to organize their tasks and assignments on calendar because there will probably be days where we will not meet in person.  They will be able to access their calendar anywhere to see what needs to be done.  Also, if we are not in physical school, I will create a Google Hangout with the link so students can meet with me virtually if they have questions.
