Although I am not currently teaching in the traditional school setting, I am responsible for the onboarding and development of our employees.  It is amazing to me that the young people within our company do not contribute to their 401k, do not have a plan for saving for the future and/or retirement, etc.  My goal for this class is to teach our young employees how to be more financially aware and responsible in order to set themselves up for a better future, financially.  I believe that by assisting our own employees with this will help us to have a better culture and lead to less employee turnover.
