I like the mass e-mailings that are possible with Google.  It's a constant struggle to work with our online students at the same time as our live students.  This is a great way to group students according to classes or class sections. It is also useful in getting in touch with parents efficiently. I like syncing-up my Google calendar with my contacts and my Google Classroom. It's very efficient in getting out notifications to entire classes quickly.
