Objective: Students can name an item/person/place that is beautiful
What makes something beautiful? Pre-K Lesson- small group
What does the word “beautiful” mean?  What can you think of that is beautiful?  (A flower, a princess…)
Read a new story with colorful pictures.  Ask the children the following questions:
*What is happening in this picture?
*What is/are he/she/they doing?
*Do you see anything in these pictures that is beautiful?
*Why do you think this (person, object, etc.) is beautiful?
*How does this story make you feel?
Re-read the story.
Check for understanding- what is beautiful to you?  Can the students name something from the story, a color or an object that is beautiful?
