I use Gmail in many ways in my sixth grade classroom.  Parent groups, sorted by class, allow me to send messages to all parents of a certain subject area of students.  I communicate directly with students and parents through Gmail.  Next year, I would like to begin using folders for emails.  Possible topics include parent contacts, adminstration contacts, assessments, etc.  I would also like to explore helping my students use folders and labels for their student accounts as well.
