I completely agree. Students/ young people need to understand this. While working in middle school and upper elementary, I constantly saw my students post and send things that they did not fully understand the extent of what they were doing/ saying. Including, sending inappropriate things to "only one person", sending "jokes" that spread around and hurt several people, etc.
