I thought you provided a clear understanding of the articles. I agree that it is imperative to incorporate art in all subjects. I teach middle level ELA and it is a nightmare sometimes to get kids to want to participate fully. The articles suggest that art stimulates problem solving skills and intrinsic motivation. Those skills are always beneficial to subject where motivation may lack.
