As a teacher I am always encouraged by the technology involved in the classroom and find that the majority of students I work with thrive when given the opportunity to utilize this technology.  I feel students need to be informed and understand the importance of protecting their privacy and being a responsible digital citizen.  Students should also understand that they need to communicate with others online in the same manner they would a face to face communication.  Many times I think it is challenging for students to really grasp and understand what they put online is and can be used by others in the future such as a prospective employer.
