I have seen family feuds unfold on Facebook. It is very uncomfortable for mutual friends and even for those not directly involved.  Sometimes it is better to communicate face-to-face.  In written communication, it is difficult to know if the other person is teasing or is being sarcastic.  It is also impossible to know their depth of feeling.
